David Warner posts emotional message on Instagram; wife Candice reacts

The Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise hasn’t got off to a flourishing start to this year’s Indian Premier League. The David Warner-led outfit has so far only managed to cop one win out of their six games. With only 2 points by their side, the franchise is holding the last position on the points table. Their net run rate is also on the negative side.

Led by David Warner, SRH played their previous game against the Chennai Super Kings. Batting first, the side posted a total of 171 runs on the board. The credit for the score must go to David Warner and Manish Pandey, who went on to smash the half-centuries. And then the finishing role was played by Kane Williamson and Kedar Jadhav with some heavy-hitting in the end.

Following the nature of the pitch, the score seemed pretty achievable for CSK as they won the game by seven wickets. Their opening duo of Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad stole the show. David Warner today took to his Instagram handle to express his feelings after the loss.

David Warner expressed his feelings on social media

He posted the photo along with the caption, “Losing hurts and things may not be going our way but what I do know is we are fighters. We will never give up”. Watching the photo, Warner’s wife Candice couldn’t resist commenting on it.

It was a very motivating reaction from Candice Warner. She commented, “Well said darling, true warrior,” along with adding orange heart emoji.

The next fixture of SRH is against the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday. With the 14th edition of IPL progressing towards the latter half, SRH must find their momentum and record some wins in their remaining matches. It would be exciting to see how the Orange Army bounces back as they have the talent to do so with some big names like Rashid Khan and David Warner.
