3 changes Gujarat Titans could make for their next game against SRH

In the first game against Mumbai Indians, too, Gujarat Titans won the game by a whisker. Against CSK, it was a poor outing and they had to endure a sorrow defeat. Their next game would be against SRH. The team will want to make some key changes in the playing XI. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of 3 changes Gujarat Titans could make for their next IPL game against SRH.

1) Kane Williamson for Vijay Shankar

Kane Williamson for Vijay Shankar is one of the changes Gujarat Titans could make for their next game against SRH. It is clear that there is a lack of solidity in the middle-order for Gujarat Titans. Hardik Pandya provided that in the past but it is missing right now. This is putting Shubman Gill and B Sai Sudharsan under pressure.

Kane Williamson at No.4 slot might not be ideal. However, he brings a lot to the table. He is definitely a better player than Vijay Shankar at this moment. Anyway, Vijay is not being used with the ball. Hence, it does not make sense to have Vijay in the side when he is not doing well.

2) Kartik Tyagi for Azmatullah Omarzai

The Afghan all-rounder has been used with the new ball by GT. However, in both the first two games, he leaked runs after one good over. Also, he is not being able to do well in other phases of the game. With the bat, he is more of a hit-and-miss.

GT might consider having a specialist pacer on the side instead of Omarzai, whose position could be taken by some other foreigner such as Kane Williamson. Kartik is an exciting cricketer and would be useful in the other phases of the game, as well. He can also hit the deck hard, which could be used with the two bouncers rule.

3) Shahrukh Khan for Vijay Shankar

If GT does not want to disturb the overseas combination, they could have Shahrukh Khan replace Vijay Shankar in the team.

Shahrukh is surprisingly not even on the bench. He was hired for a top price and it is the best to make good use of his skills in the middle-order.
