India is currently locking horns with Australia in the warmup game ahead of their opening T20 World Cup 2022 encounter against Pakistan on October 23rd. It was a decent performance by the Indian batters as they posted a competitive total of 186 runs on the board.
While it was KL Rahul who started the innings on high, Suryakumar Yadav with his knock made sure that India end the innings on high. After the wicket of Rahul, India lost wickets at regular intervals and it seemed that they would struggle to post a good total.
But Suryakumar Yadav carried his red-hot form and held one end to make sure that India end the innings on high. He smashed yet another half-century and played a staggering innings, which made many laud him for his incredible consistency.
