Trent Boult opens up on his availability for remainder of IPL 2021

The announcement of the second phase of IPL 2021 has created a whole new environment in cricketing fraternity. The fans are excited to watch their favourite cricketers getting back in action. However, as every coin has 2 sides, this announcement also has a rumoured setback.

There are various reports being spreaded about the availability of foreign players. English players might not be able to participate in the remainders of IPL 2021. This can create a major turnover for the tournament as many sides will face issue.

Top names like Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Ben Stokes and various other English stars might not participate. The reason for the same can be the Ashes series and the ICC T20 World Cup. However, the availability for players from other countries has not been confirmed yet.

The New Zealand pacer Trent Boult has opened up on his views regarding this point. The bowler was excited after hearing the news. However, it would be interesting to see whether the Kiwis can participate in the league or not.

Boult expresses his views regarding IPL in UAE

Boult stated in a virtual press conference that:

“Looks like it is moving forward to the UAE where it ran very nicely last year. So if I get the chance, I’ll be looking forward to finishing that campaign off nicely.”

The player went on to add that India is really a beautiful country to visit. He has gained a lot of experience from visiting the country and playing in the local conditions.

Mumbai Indians would be slightly worried with the availability of Trent Boult. Their pace duo of Boult and Bumrah has been blazing all guns in last few IPL seasons. The Kiwi pacer managed to grab 8 wickets in 7 matches which were played in the Phase 1 of IPL 2021. It would be interesting to see how the season goes on depending on cricketers availability.
