David Warner replies to a fan who asked him about his downturn in SRH

We have seen a whole lot of things getting changed due to the pandemic. The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League also couldn’t remain out of this. The season was postponed halfway after the covid-19 virus entered into the bio bubble area. However, to focus on the positives, the league is once again all set to start from where it got ended. The remaining matches will be hosted in the UAE from September to October window.

One of the most shocking things in this year’s IPL was the downturn of David Warner. The SRH management decided to take him down from the captaincy as it was handed to Kane Williamson. However, later on, his place in the playing 11 was also replaced following some mediocre performances in Phase 1 of IPL 2021. The player who was once considered the Orange Army’s heartbeat is now struggling even to find a place in the squad.

The fans were distraught following this massive decision from the Hyderabad camp. Considering this, a fan tried to ask David Warner about this significant turnaround. The fan went on to comment, “Hi Warner, please say who’s idea was it to drop you.” on one of Warner’s Instagram posts. The Aussie handled the comment in a very calm way. He didn’t give any reply in words as he just posted four laughing emojis to him. You can see that comment here:

David Warner is currently the 5th highest run-scorer in IPL

The left-handed batsman currently has so far smashed 5447 runs in the history of IPL. The IPL 2021 was not so good for him as he just managed to score 193 runs in 6 games. The reports state that the availability of some players for Phase 2 of IPL 2021 is still in doubt. This might lead to Warner getting his place back in the squad. It would be exciting to see how he performs in the upcoming IPL matches.
