‘Axar Patel, nails it’-Twitter heaps praise on Axar Patel for his brilliant bowling spell

India are locking horns with the Australian cricket team in the second of the three-match T20I series. The game is being held at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur.

Earlier, Australia beat India by 4 wickets in the first T20I and took the first lead in the series. Aussies are just a victory away from winning the ongoing T20I series.

Talking about the second game, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss after quite a long time and elected to bowl first. It’s a good toss to win for India as they will get a great chance to chase down the total.

The start of the game was delayed due to wet outfield. Fans breathed a sigh of relief upon knowing that the game would continue somehow after the umpires came up with a confirmation.

Axar Patel was brilliant

The second T20I reduced to eight overs per side owing to wet conditions. Meanwhile, Axar Patel had a sensational day at the office. The left-arm spinner accounted for two dismissals to his name.

He bowled two overs where he gave away 13 runs. Axar got rid of Glenn Maxwell and Tim David. Axar pitched the balls at the right line only to crash the stumps of both Maxwell and David.
