India clinched the T20I series against New Zealand. The first game of the series got washed out due to rain and then the visitors displayed a staggering performance in the second game and thumped the hosts by 65 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series. Then they did reasonably well in the second game but rain played the spoilsport and match ended as tie.
India made only one change for the third game as Harshal Patel was back in the XI in place of Washington Sundar whereas Sanju Samson and Umran Malik continued to warm the bench. They did exceptionally well with the ball as on account of four wicket hauls by Mohammed Siraj and Arshdeep Singh they bundled out the opposition to the total of 160 runs.

After that they tumbled a bit with the bat but they kept the run rate in check and were on par score as per DLS when rain played its part. They were 75/4 with skipper Hardik Pandya batting at 30. The game ended as a draw and india clinched the series by the margin of 1-0.
