India’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant who has played notable impactful knocks in Test cricket ran through a career-threatening car accident in late December. He was travelling in his car all alone by himself but he accidentally crashed into one of the divider linings on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.
As per the reports, he travelled in the car early morning and was heading back home to surprise his family members. However, as it turned out, he met with an unfortunate accident.
He was quickly hospitalized and then he sought medical assistance in the need of the hour before he was shifted to another hospital for surgery. After that, he has been going through a rehabilitation and recovery process.
Rishabh Pant is back on his feet
Rishabh Pant had to miss important assignments for India including the Border Gavaskar Trophy series. He was ruled out of the entire edition of the IPL and is also ruled out of the ICC World Test Championship Final.
His exact date of his return hasn’t been confirmed yet and it will entirely depend on how quickly he recovers. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant made everyone happy after he got back on his feet.
