The Australian national cricket team have often chipped in with disciplinary performances in all aspects in the second cycle of the ICC World Test Championship. As a result, they are on top of the ICC WTC table.

The fact that they have lost just one Test so far goes to show how good they have been in terms of churning out positive results time and time again. Pat Cummins and Co recently played the three-match Test series against the South African cricket team at home.

Australia drew first blood in the series by beating South Africa by six wickets at The Gabba, Brisbane. After that, they went on to dominate the Proteas in the second Test as they won the game by an innings and 182 runs at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne.

Pat Cummins and Co won the second Test and the series. In fact, they had a chance to inflict a 3-0 whitewash on the South African cricket team but unfortunately, weather played a big part in most of the game in Sydney. As a result, the match ended in a draw.
