Here’s why Wriddhiman Saha wore his pants other way round against LSG

Wriddhiman Saha was in phenomenal touch against the Lucknow Super Giants

Gujarat Titans had a phenomenal outing against the Lucknow Super Giants and two of their main architects of destruction were Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha as the two openers went completely berserk against an ailing Lucknow Super Giants, leaving their hapless bowlers at the receiving end of some serious clobbering.

Batting first, it was Gujarat Titans who hunkered down to business in no time, thanks to Shubman Gill, leading the charge with the bat while Wriddhiman Saha who started on a slow note but would soon find his way to the top, battering the LSG bowlers at will.

Hardik Pandya arrived late in the innings and powered a masterclass to help the reigning champions gain a foothold, piling up 227 for the loss of 2 wickets at the end of their 20 overs. Avesh Khan conceded the least number of runs with 34 from 2 overs at the end of his 4.

Mohit Sharma raged through the LSG batting, belting out 4 wickets at the expense of just 29 runs as the Lucknow Super Giants were down and out even before they could get themselves rolling in the chase. With their captain ruled out of the game, Quinton de Kock led the charge with a 40-ball-71 while Kyle Mayers seemed to be in decent touch with a warring 48.

However, the scoring rate was overtly slow to create any havoc in the camps of Gujarat. Noor Ahmad was in fine touch as well, leading the show for the Titans while Rashid Khan, continued his wicket-taking run with another spell of 1/34.

However, with all the magic on the ground, there was a comical incident that left the fans amused and even till now the internet is abuzz with the same. Wriddhiman Saha was wearing his pants the other way round and this didn’t fail to amuse the audience.

The man himself opened up on the incident, explaining, “I told the umpires that you are having the needling session, but they didn’t allow me to keep. I was eating my food and the physio said I need to take my medicine too. So I had to wear my pants in a hurry and it was worn the other way around. After two overs I returned and you did a wonderful job.”
