Jos Buttler Named Two English Players Who Could Perfectly Replace Ben Stokes And Jofra Archer

England will be eager to make amends to their preceding edition's final defeat

Jos Buttler opened up about England’s chances: As the biennial extravaganza of the T20 World cup will finally be back after a hiatus of various reasons, England will be coming to this contest without the likes of two of their most instrumental match-winners, Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer.

English wicket-keeping batsman, Jos Buttler opened up about how the world champions in the 50-over format will also be one of the favourites to lift the prestigious silverware.

The major part of the story revolved around how England is bedecked with match-winning stars despite the absence of Stokes and Archer. He was also confident about the fact that England’s players are highly committed to the cause of lifting the silverware after being drubbed in the dying embers of the last edition’s finale.

This is what Jos Buttler had to say about England’s chances in the World Cup

As per the reports in the British media outlets, he was heard citing, “I think we’re certainly one of the favourites, I think we’re a brilliant team. I know we’re going to be missing Ben and Jofra, two superstars, but I think you still look down that list and there’s some real match-winners in our side and that’s really exciting.”

Buttler also opened up about the two players who can make a significant difference in the absence of Stokes and Archer, and they were Liam Livingstone and Tymal Mills.

Despite Livingstone riding on blazing hot form in the Hundred, his exploits dried up after arriving in UAE where the Rajasthan Royals couldn’t really bring out the best in him.

Tymal Mills, on the contrary, was pretty decent in the Hundred and backed it up with even better performances for Sussex as he claimed a three-fer against both Yorkshire and Kent.

The English wicket-keeper was all praise for Mills and Liam Livingstone

Buttler heaped a lot of praises on Tymal Mills quoting the fact that his illustrious showdowns in the Hundred and his left-arm angle can lead to some serious trouble for the opposition batters.

Talking about Livingstone, he cited, “You look at the opportunities Liam Livingstone was presented with this summer and the way he’s taken his game from those T20 series and The Hundred. That confidence he’ll go into the World Cup with is fantastic.”

Buttler himself will be an imperative part of the English squad that will be led by Eoin Morgan. Morgan is currently deployed in the UAE shores, leading the KKR brigade in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.
