IND vs WI: Suryakumar Yadav becomes first Indian player with 30+ plus scores in first five ODIs
Yadav made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka back in July 2021.
Suryakumar Yadav has been plying his trade in India’s domestic cricket since 2010, but despite impressive showings, he was unable to break into the national team. Even as he averages in the 30s in T20Is, the right-hander has looked a class apart when it comes to ODI cricket. The 31-year-old made his ODI debut on the tour of Sri Lanka under Rahul Dravid’s tutelage. From there on, the veteran has only played a handful of games but has given an account of his prowess with the bat in hand.
