Since the start of the Indian Premier League in 2022, the 33-year-old player has not been in the greatest of situations, so he will be eager to get back into excellent form for the huge competition.
This will be an important competition for Kohli himself since there are many others, such as Deepak Hooda, Sanju Samson, and Ishan Kishan, waiting in the wings for a guaranteed spot in the next Twenty20 World Cup, which will be held in Australia later this year.

Kohli recently discussed the highs and lows that have occurred during his cricketing career in a video that was posted by the BCCI. The former captain of India described how he challenges himself in the offseason to achieve a certain level of performance, which in turn provides him with more energy to use on the field.
“That is who I have always been, and people ask me all the time, ‘how can you do this or how do you keep on with such a high level of intensity?’ I just convey with them how much I like playing the game, how I feel like I have a lot to offer on every ball, and how I am willing to use every ounce of my energy when I am out on the field,” Kohli said.

“For me, it never seemed weird. A great number of people from the outside world watch me, and even some of my teammates have asked me how I manage to stay so competitive. I simply want to make sure that my team wins at whatever cost, and if it means that I’m panting for air when I leave the field, then so be it. That’s all I have to say about it,” Kohli added.
