“He Is Knocking On The Doors”- Dinesh Karthik Feels Shahrukh Khan Will Be Match-Winner For India

Former Kolkata Knight Riders captain Dinesh Karthik gave his opinion on the rising star of Tamil Nadu cricket Shahrukh Khan in a recent interview. Karthik, who has been a very successful skipper for the Tamil Nadu cricket team, believes that Khan is very close to breaking into the Indian cricket team. In his view, Khan will be a top performer at the international level.

The Tamil Nadu cricket team has achieved a lot of success in the domestic arena. One of the primary reasons behind their success is the Tamil Nadu Premier League. The tournament has produced many star players over the last few seasons. One of the top players who has done well for Tamil Nadu as a finisher is Shahrukh Khan.

He is a finisher who can play some unbelievable shots in the slog overs and change the course of the match. Khan is yet to play at the international level, but many fans got to witness him during the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League, playing for the Punjab Kings team. Although he did a good job, Khan did not receive another contract from Khan ahead of IPL 2022 Auction.

The finisher will be a part of the upcoming IPL Mega Auction. It should not be a surprise if he emerges as one of the most expensive picks at the mega auction.

I have no doubt that when he gets the opportunity, he will do very well for Team India: Dinesh Karthik on Shahrukh Khan

Dinesh Karthik heaped praise on Shahrukh Khan recently and here’s what he was quoted as saying by ANI:

“Shahrukh Khan is knocking on the doors, he is very close and he is within touching distance. I have no doubt that when he gets the opportunity, he will do very well for Team India.”

It will be interesting to see when Khan gets an opportunity to play for the country. He is looking for a similar role that even Dinesh Karthik can play. Recently, the veteran wicket-keeper said that he still has desire to play for the Indian T20I cricket team. The race is heating up ahead of T20 World Cup 2022.
