“Beat the drums and let the world know that Mahi will return”, Twitter goes crazy as MS Dhoni hints at another year of IPL in his belt

MS Dhoni has been leading CSK with pomp and vigour

MS Dhoni has been touted to be playing his last IPL season and hence the craze is through the roofs of all the fans who have been present in the stands to watch him deliver in the biggest of stages. In a new development however, Kiwi commentator, Danny Morrison claimed that this may be Dhoni’s last season. In a surprise response to that, the former Indian captain said that he has not yet decided whether this is his last season, then why should Danny.

Mahi has been a crucial part of the Chennai Super Kings ever since the club’s inception and in every year of its existence, the team has gone onto deliver handsomely under the leadership of MS Dhoni and believe this or not but they have also lifted four IPL titles, just one adrift of Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians.

Here is what Twitter had to say about MS Dhoni

CSK has also appeared in the semi-finals and the play-offs for the maximum number of times and the kind of displays that have been knitted together under the reign of MS, it drives the fans right over its edge. Chennai Super Kings may very well be en route to naming a successor to MS Dhoni if the latter chooses to step down but with the Yellow Army running riot in the IPL 2023, all the focus is on the current year’s campaign.

Albeit Dhoni’s contribution being pretty minimal in the games that they have played so far in the season yet a captain like Mahi is always going to present you with all the cracking opportunities in order to get yourself right to the top. Only time shall reveal whether MS Dhoni will be calling it a day after this season but this speculation has been driving crazy since 2020 and yet Dhoni stands tall. Twitter had their own take on the same and was overjoyed to know that Mahi may return.
