“Go out there and give everything to win the World Cup” – Hardik Pandya reveals the biggest new year resolution

Team India have long been criticized for their inability to produce spark and ignition in the ICC events. The last time they won the ICC title was when MS Dhoni was at the helm of the Indian cricket team.

The Men in Blue won the ICC Champions Trophy by beating England and since then, India haven’t tasted the glory in ICC events. The last time when they came close was during the ICC T20 World Cup 2014 tourney.

It was at that time, India made it to the finals but lost to Sri Lanka in the peak encounter. Even during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, India were eliminated by England in the semi-finals.

Hardik Pandya reveals the biggest new year resolution

The upcoming edition of the ICC ODI World Cup is scheduled to be held entirely in India for the first time and it remains to be seen whether or not how Team India would approach the marquee event this time around.

The marquee event will be held in India in the October-November window and the team management has sufficient time to come up with a 15-man balanced squad going forward into the ICC ODI WC 2023.

According to Cricbuzz, the BCCI has shortlisted as many as 20 players for the ODI set-up, which means that these players will be duly rewarded with more chances in the bilateral ODI series.

By doing this, it will help the board to come up with a final and well-balanced squad for the World Cup. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya who will be leading Team India for the T20I series against Sri Lanka revealed the biggest new year resolution.

Hardik Pandya said that the biggest new year resolution is to win the World Cup. Team India do have the necessary players with a great attitude to push the team to win the title. Hardik Pandya even highlighted that it is important to go out there and give absolutely everything on the field.
