‘Bumrah proving that he is a like for like replacement for Bhuvi’-Twitter erupts as Jasprit Bumrah finally makes a comeback to Indian team

The first T20I between India and Australia turned out to be a feast for the spectators in Mohali. Both teams gave it all in the contest. However, in the end, Australia had the last laugh in the battle.

India and Australia had their fair share of chances to smack balls out of the park. Australia were too good in the run-chase as they punished the Indian bowlers with ease.

Australia literally ran through India’s bowlers with ease. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Harshal Patel had a bad day at the office. Bhuvneshwar conceded 52 runs in his quota of 4 overs and had an expensive economy rate of 12.

On the other side of the coin, Harshal Patel conceded 49 runs in 4 overs. Fans took to their respective social media handles and slammed Bhuvneshwar for his terrible bowling approach.

Meanwhile, the second T20I between India and Australia is taking place at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Jasprit Bumrah is back

Talking about the changes in the Indian team for the second T20I, Jasprit Bumrah who has been out of cricketing action for quite a long time is back in the mix.

Bumrah comes in for pacer Umesh Yadav. On the other hand, Bhuvneshwar Kumar misses out on to feature in the second T20I and interestingly, Rishabh Pant is back in the team.

“Hopefully we can put up a good show. Since it is an eight-over game, we had to make two changes: Bumrah comes in for Umesh Yadav. Bhuvi misses out too and Pant comes in,” Indian skipper Rohit Sharma said after winning the toss.
