In what has been the latest development as per the reports in Sports Tak, it is learned that Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has informed team management that he will be available for the second Test. The reports also suggested that senior batter is likely to travel to Bangladesh within the next 24 hours.

Rohit injured himself during the second ODI against Bangladesh while fielding. He immediately went off the field and went for scans, which revealed that the Indian skipper has dislocated his left thumb and also few cuts were there too.

Although, he came out to bat later in the innings in that game to rescue his team but was ruled out of the third ODI as he travelled back to Mumbai to consultant expert there. His injury then forced him to be out of the ongoing first Test against Bangladesh.

If the reports of him being available for the second come out to be true, it is expected that he will be back in the XI. Rohit is likely to replace Shubman Gill in the team for the second Test.

Coming to the first Test, India is likely to win the first game. They batted and bowled staggering well in the ongoing Test. First, they posted a gigantic total of 404 runs on the board and then bundled out the opposition of just 150 runs. They decided to go against the follow-on and bat in the second innings as well.
