The middle-order woes for Pakistan keep haunting them. They have tried several options but they have consistently failed to get a decent middle order. However, Khushdil Shah and Iftikhar Ahmed are expected to start in the XI for the first game against Bangladesh.
The finisher’s role for Pakistan is likely to be done by Asif Ali and Mohammad Nawaz and Shahdab Khan, who are also likely to play a crucial role with the ball. Shaheen Afridi is expected to make a comeback and form the pacer battery with Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf for the first T20I
