Since it is the T20 format, chances are high that the bowlers get tonked by the batters, especially inside the powerplay overs since the batters get the extra cushion to add more flesh to the scoreboard.

1. Andrew Tye

Andrew Tye etched his name into the record books after he became the fastest bowler to take 300 wickets in T20s. The Australian paceman who plays for Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League achieved a remarkable milestone in 211 matches.

The 36-year-old Perth-born cricketer has taken 47 wickets in Twenty20 Internationals for the Australian cricket team. On the other hand, he took 42 wickets in 30 appearances in IPL.

2. Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan is one of the highly-rated players in the shortest format of the game. Moreover, he is one of the players who would break into any team because of his bowling credentials complimented by his batting exploits.

Time and again, he has made a name for himself as a pinch-hitter of the game who is capable of hitting sixes. Rashid Khan is the second-fastest bowler to take 300 wickets in T20s. He achieved the feat in 213 matches.

3. Lasith Malinga

Sri Lanka’s bowling great is third on the list in terms of the fastest bowlers to take 300 wickets in the shortest format of the game. The former Sri Lankan skipper accomplished the landmark in 222 matches.
