“India is the favorite, but we are not, if we beat them then it’s an upset” Shakib Al Hasan ahead of the clash against India

Indian Cricket Team is having a decent time in the T20 World Cup 2022. They have won two out of their three games in the tournament and are favorites to qualify for the semi-finals.

They defeated arch-rivals Pakistan in the first game, which was a nail-biter. The Rohit Sharma-led side then thumped the Netherlands by a big margin. Just when it seemed they will win three games on the trot, South Africa pounded them to hand their first loss in the tournament.

They are now slated to face Bangladesh next Wednesday (2nd November) in Adelaide. A win would be crucial for them as it would make their case strong to qualify for the semi-finals.

It won’t be easy for them as Bangladesh previously have given them tough competition in the tournaments. Ahead of the clash, their skipper Shakib Al Hasan has made a bold statement and has issued a warning to the Indian cricket team. He stated:

“India is the favourites, they are here to win the World Cup but we are not, if we beat them then it’s an upset”.
