The 12th edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) is underway. The season so far has seen many breathtaking performances with many superstars putting on a staggering show with both bat and ball. The business end of the tournament is about to reach and so far we still haven’t gotten the semi-finalists.

Australia opener David Warner is all set to return to Big Bash League (BBL) after 9 years. He will play for Sydney Thunder on Friday (13th January) against Perth Scorchers at Sydney Showground.

Warner has only played three games in BBL so far, in which he has one hundred, one fifty and one duck. After tasting huge success on the international stage, the southpaw will step into the domestic league.

Speaking to the media, he expressed his desire to play and said: “We’re fourth at the moment, so the guys have been playing well. We’ve had some injuries and if I can contribute in any way, it’d be awesome. It’s going to be a tough game, obviously, the Scorchers are a well-equipped team, they’ve had some great success with four titles.”
