The Chennai Super Kings have returned to the winning track in IPL 2022. In the previous match, the Chennai-based franchise pulled off an incredible win against the Mumbai Indians in a classic match. Many fans would know that Devon Conway was unavailable for that match.
The reason behind it was that Conway has left the bio-bubble and returned home to get married. Prior to his departure, the Chennai Super Kings team organized a pre-wedding party, where all cricketers were present in South Indian attire.
The main attraction was the former Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni who enjoyed the beats at the party. Even Ruturaj Gaikwad was spotted having a good time. The CSK social media team added a tune from the song “Two Two Two” from the latest Vijay Sethupathi Movie to make the video more enjoyable.
Here’s how CSK captioned the video that they shared on social media earlier today:
“Saturday Night Party Mood: Kaathuvaakula Konjam to the Superfans! We Yellove you two!”

Devon Conway wanted to play under MS Dhoni one time his career
When the Chennai Super Kings signed Devon Conway at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction, he was excited to play under the captaincy of MS Dhoni for the first time in his professional career. However, Dhoni stepped down as the CSK captain and handed over the team’s reins to Ravindra Jadeja.
Thus, Conway never got a chance to experience how it feels to play under MS Dhoni. In a chat with the Chennai Super Kings franchise, the rising star of New Zealand had said:
“I was wanting to play under the great MS as captain. I had a nice little conversation with him. I said, ‘you’re sure you don’t want to captain one more season so I can play under you as captain?’ But he said, ‘no, but I am always going to be around anyways.”
