Twitter reacts as Rohit Sharma got out yet again playing a pull shot

Another day, another failure for the Indian star opener Rohit Sharma as the same disappointing story continues for him. Rohit once again fell prey to his favorite pull shot as he was dismissed after making a solid start once again on the opening day of the ongoing 3rd Test match at Headingley, Leeds.

After electing to bat first, the Indian side got off to a horrible start as they lost KL Rahul in the first over itself. Following his wicket, India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara failed to perform as well. He was soon dismissed after scoring only a single run.

Indian skipper, Virat Kohli walked out to bat at number 4, when the Indian side was reeling at 4/2. A lot was expected from the duo – Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, however, to everyone’s dismay, Virat Kohli once again failed to perform with the bat.

On the other hand, Indian opener, Rohit Sharma was patient throughout the morning session and he got better in the second session as well. He faced 105 balls, however, all the hard work went into the drain after he was dismissed after making a solid start once again.

Rohit looked to play the pull shot however it turned out to be a nothing shot. A bumper from Craig Overton landed straight into the hands of the mid-on fielder. Rohit walked back to the pavilion after scoring 19 runs off 105 balls.

For the unversed, lately, Rohit Sharma is getting criticized badly for his shot selection. This isn’t the first time that he was dismissed because of his pull shot. Infact, in the ongoing series, he has been dismissed thrice because of the same shot.
