England cricket team are taking on the Indian cricket team in the second semi-final clash of T20 World Cup at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. Earlier, Pakistan beat New Zealand by 7 wickets in the first semi-final and booked their place in the finals.

While England finished second on the Group 1 points table, Team India ended up at the first place on the Group 2 points table. England won 3 games, lost just once and one game ended in the form of no result (as the game between Australia and England was abandoned without a ball being delivered).

Meanwhile, talking about the second semi-final clash, England skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bowl first. Rohit Sharma, at the toss, said that they would have batted first as well.

KL Rahul fails to perform in ICC knockouts once again

England cricket team got off to a superb start to the game in the form of Chris Woakes as the latter got the better of Lokesh Rahul early on in the game.

The incident happened on the fourth ball of the second over when Woakes bowled a terrific ball that drifted slightly away from KL Rahul. However, the right-handed batter, out of desperation, tried to connect the ball.

As it turned out, he got a thick inside edge as the ball carried towards Jos Buttler behind the stumps. Rahul departed after scoring just 5 runs.
