“Someone like Vivrant Sharma can be a surprise pick in upcoming IPL Auction” – Twitter reacts as Jammu and Kashmir has the most number of players part of this IPL auction

The upcoming IPL 2023 auction is surely going to keep the fans on the edge of their seats because nobody literally knows where the registered players would end up in the forthcoming season.

The likes of Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings suffered enough in the last season as they finished at the rock bottom of the points table. CSK finished 9th whereas MI finished 10th in the IPL 2022 table.

These two franchises will give everything at the auction to sign top players that fit the bill. Just a day ago, the Indian Premier League announced the final list of players who will go under the hammer at the IPL 2023 auction.

The final list includes as many as 405 players and out of that, 273 players are from India whereas 132 of the remaining players are from overseas and four players are from associate nations.

Jammu and Kashmir has the most number of players part of this IPL auction

Meanwhile, there are a total of 119 capped players, and 282 uncapped players and four of them are from associate nations. The overall auction pool left out for the franchises is INR 206.5 crore.

Notably, Jammu and Kashmir have the most number of players who are part of this upcoming IPL 2023 auction. There are 21 players from J&K who will be part of the mini-auction, which is slated to be held in Kochi on December 23.

Meanwhile, fans are of the opinion that Vivrant Sharma can be a surprise pick in the upcoming mega auction. The 23-year-old has played 14 matches in List A cricket wherein he scored 519 runs at an average of 39.9.

Overall, he has slammed one century and three fifties to his name whereas he has featured in 9 T20s, scoring 191 runs at a strike rate of 128.2 and the youngster is still on the learning curve and might be a surprise pick in the next auction.
