Shakib Al Hasan’s wife Umme has reacted to the Bangladeshi all-rounder’s controversial incident from yesterday’s Dhaka Premier League game. Many fans would know now that Shakib lost his cool on two occasions in the domestic game.
He took his frustration out on the stumps at the non-striker’s end. First, when the umpire declined an LBW call, he kicked the stumps at the non-striker’s end. Next, when a umpire’s decision was not proper as per Shakib, the former Bangladeshi captain took out all three stumps at the non-striker’s end and threw them.
While most cricket fans have slammed Shakib for his behavior, Shakib Al Hasan’s wife has a different take on this issue. She posted a message on Facebook to share her views regarding this incident.
She pointed out how the media was highlighting only the negative side of this issue. She believed even the others were also responsible to some extent.

Shakib Al Hasan’s wife slammed the ones who framed negative headlines and wrote:
“The main issue is the ongoing eye catching decisions of the umpires! The headlines are really saddening. To me it is a plot against him that has been going on for a while to portray him as the villain in all circumstances! If you are a cricket lover beware of your actions!”
Bangladesh Cricket Board and the match officials of the Dhaka Premier League have not taken any action against Shakib Al Hasan as of now. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
Recently, Shakib was in action during IPL 2021. He looked in good touch in the competition. However, he might be unavailable for KKR in the second phase of IPL 2021.
