Rishabh Pant Panics When The Situation Gets Tense : Ex-Indian Opener Pointed Out Biggest Weakness In Pant’s Captaincy.

The Ex-Indian opener and former domestic coach Wasim Jaffer comes down brawny on the captaincy of current Indian skipper Rishabh pant in the T20I series against South Africa. After India lost the first two games by way of margins many cricket experts have criticized the captaincy of Rishabh pant. In the second game, the South African wiki batter Henrich Klaseen along with the skipper Temba Bavuma has achieved a four-wicket win over India, which almost nullifies the chances of a series win for India, as per Jaffer.

The use of the bowlers in the middle and the death is also a point of detracting which the skipper Pant formulates for himself. Jaffer who used to track the speculations of Indian cricket very closely has openly criticized the weakest point in Pant’s captaincy which is coming forth every time when his leading side gets defeated. So that’s why he needs to address the matter as soon as possible otherwise his grooming period of leadership will come to an end before it starts.

While in a conversation with ESPNcricinfo, he said, “Yes, we have seen that thing, even in the IPL. Somewhere down the line, I think, the more he leads, the better he will become. But currently, at this stage, I think that when the match becomes tight, he panics a little bit”. To some extent, the series is out of India’s hands. Because if you are trailing 2-0 in a five-match series if in any of the next matches there is even small shortcomings then.

“I think India will have to play brilliant cricket from hereon. Irrespective of the toss, an above-par score should be made. The spinners have (need) to come (perform) better into the game,” Pant said at the post-match presentation ceremony without elaborating much. I think (while) batting, we were 10-15 runs short”, Jaffer concluded.
