IPL 2023 is still some time away, but a startling development has taken place on social media. Some eagle-eyed fans have noticed that former Chennai Super Kings captain Ravindra Jadeja has removed posts related to the franchise from IPL 2021 and 2022 seasons. He was the number one retention made by CSK ahead of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction, and they named him as their new skipper after MS Dhoni stepped down.
However, midway during the season, Dhoni took back the captaincy of the team as the extra burden put Jadeja under pressure and did not allow him to play his natural game. He had one of the worst seasons of his IPL career. It came to an end after CSK’s 10th match of the season as Jadeja picked up an injury.
That injury ruled him out of the tournament, and he left the Chennai Super Kings bio-bubble. As per reports, he took a break from social media and focused on himself. He rediscovered his form and scored a magnificent century in the Birmingham Test match against the England cricket team.
Jadeja had been rested for the first T20I against the England cricket team and will be back for the second T20I. But during the brief gap, he decided to remove IPL 2021 and 2022 posts related to Chennai Super Kings from his Instagram account.
Ravindra Jadeja has removed all his CSK posts from 2021 and 2022 🙂.

Speaking at a press conference after scoring a hundred at Edgbaston against the England cricket team, Ravindra Jadeja gave his views on IPL 2022 with the Chennai Super Kings and said:
“What happened, happened. IPL was not on my mind. Whenever you are playing for India, your entire focus needs to be on the Indian team. It was the same for me, there is no better satisfaction than performing well for the Indian cricket team.”
