Pakistan cricket team is having a great time in the Asia Cup 2022. They have qualified for the final and will play Sri Lanka on Sunday (11th September) in Dubai. They have suffered only defeat so far in the tournament and have almost ticked all the boxes.

But what will concerning for them will be the form of their skipper with the bat. Babar Azam is having a horrendous time with the bat in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. The right-hander has amassed just 33 runs in four innings at a poor average of 8.25.

In the first game against India, Babar scored 10 runs and then registered a score of 9 runs against Hong Kong to end the group stage on low. In Pakistan’s encounter against India in Super 4, the opening batter yet again was dismissed for a low score as he smashed just 14 runs in 10 balls.

Babar then registered a golden duck against Afghanistan on Wednesday (7th September) as he failed to tackle the sharp in-swinger by Fazalhaq Farooqi. He also lost his top spot in the ICC rankings for T20 batters.
