“My parents dream is to see me in the Indian jersey…”, Mohsin Khan reveals that his biggest dream is to represent his country

The current population of India is estimated to be around 1.4 billion as of 2022. There are countless people residing in the country, the majority of the children aspire to become cricketers.

However, not all of them achieve their dreams. The ones who put in a hoard of effort in their journey on a consistent basis are the ones who are destined for greatness.

Today, there are plenty of cricketers playing for India and for the respective states in domestic cricket. Several cricketers have stamped their authority in domestic cricket to earn a call-up to the Indian cricket team.

There is also another shortcut to get into the Indian cricket team and which is to chip in with imperious performances in the cash-rich Indian Premier League.

Mohsin Khan says his biggest dream is to represent his country

Case in point, Mohsin Khan is one of the fast bowlers who is slowly making a name for himself in order to shine at the highest level. The 24-year-old Sambhal-born cricketer represents Uttar Pradesh in the domestic circuit.

Lucknow Super Giants purchased the services of Mohsin Khan for his base price of INR 20 lakh at the IPL 2022 mega auction in Bengaluru. He played nine games for the newly-debutant franchise wherein he took 14 wickets to his name.

Impressed by his performances, Mohsin Khan was retained by Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the IPL 2023 auction in Kochi. Meanwhile, the left-arm fast-medium bowler said that his biggest dream is to represent his country.

While speaking to News24 Sports, he wishes to play for Team India in the future. He also further added that his parents’ dream is to see him don the Indian outfit.

Overall, he has played as many as 35 games in the shortest format of the game wherein he took 47 wickets to his name, registering his personal best bowling figures of 4/16.
