The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is a Test series played between India and Australia and the iconic Test series is named after former captains and cricket legends, Allan Border (Australia) and Sunil Gavaskar (India).

Recently, Team India retained the Border Gavaskar trophy for a record fourth-straight time by trouncing Australia 2–1 in the 2023 series. For the record, if a series is drawn, the team that is holding the trophy retains it.

5. Michael Clarke

Michael Clarke comes next on the list of most centuries scored in the Border Gavaskar Trophy series. The former Australian cricketer has seven centuries to his name.

6. Matthew Hayden

Matthew Hayden also has a terrific batting record against India. The former Australian opener has hit six centuries against Team India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series.

7. VVS Laxman

VVS Laxman who always loved playing against Australia during the heydays of his career has smashed six centuries in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
