N Jagadeesan will attract franchises in IPL 2023 Auctions
The recent years have been difficult for the Tamil Nadu cricketer. A few seasons ago, he was in stunning form, but he did not get a chance in the Indian Team or a consistent run in the IPL. After that, he fell out of form and even had to sacrifice his opening slot.
However, the player has returned to form. He has been making runs with ease, just like a few years ago. When he started out, Jagadeesan offered a lot of promise. While he did perform according to expectations, he just could not kick in at the highest level. Hence, till now, he is yet to get close to Team India. Even now, the chances are slim but, at least, he has done what is possible from his side. Recently, Chennai Super Kings released the player to IPL 2023 Auctions. The player did get a few games but was not able to leave an impression.
Twitter reacts to the wicketkeeper’s stunning form
Jagadeesan’s next intention will be to do well in the IPL. A performance in the Indian T20 League will help him attract the eyes of the selectors furthermore. Moreover, there are many franchises that will need an Indian wicketkeeper. While Kolkata Knight Riders require one for the next season, teams such as RCB, CSK and GT will need to have one for the future. Hence, there will be good demand for players of Jagadeesan’s profile.
