IND vs SA 2022: It was a game to forget for South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram. Their batting looked clueless in the first game as Indian pacers rattled their stumps to leave them tottering. However, one of the biggest positives for them was that even after posting a low score on the board, they made Indian batters work hard. They would be looking to carry that momentum and level the series.
IND vs SA 2022: Predicted South African Playing 11 for the second T20I
The second game between India and South Africa is scheduled to take place on Sunday (2nd October) at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. It’ll be a must-win encounter for the Proteas as a loss for them would mean that series loss. Therefore it is expected that they’ll come out all guns blazing.

Coming to the playing 11, it is expected that they’ll back their team. Skipper Temba Bavuma and Quinton de Kock are likely to open in the second T20I. The Proteas preferred Rilee Rossouw at No.3 ahead of Reeza Hendricks and the southpaw will likely continue in the second game as well.
There’s no brainier about the No.4 spot in the South African team. Aiden Markram has owned that spot with David Miller set to bat at No.5. The finishing role in the team for the second T20I will be given to youngsters Tristan Stubbs, who has been exciting in recent times.
How is it that Virat Kohli is never injured? Barring Virat, our entire team young or experienced, almost everyone has had injury issues: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Bumrah, Bhuvi, Harshal etc #ViratKohli #SportsYaari

Wayne Parnell did a decent job with both bat and ball in the first game and therefore he is expected to play ahead of Dwaine Pretorius. Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje will also retain their spot in the XI with Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi as the two spinners in the team.
