In a funny tweet, former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh sent birthday greetings to Indian batter Shubman Gill on the occasion of his 23rd birthday.
On Tuesday, Indian batsman Shubman Gill will turn 23 years old. The young Indian batter is widely regarded as one of the most promising batters on the circuit, and he has delivered some outstanding performances in recent months of cricket.
In the most recent one-day international series, which was played against the West Indies, Gill made his long-awaited return to the format and was subsequently honoured with the Man of the Series title. In the most recent match against Zimbabwe, he also notched the first century of his One-Day International career. Gill also signed a county contract with Glamorgan, where he played an outstanding knock of 92 runs in his debut outing.

Yuvraj uploaded an old video in which he pokes fun at Gill’s driving abilities and shared it with everyone. In addition to that, he encouraged Gill to keep firing on all cylinders throughout his time with County Side Glamorgan and wished him the best of luck.
Gill and Yuvraj both come from Punjab, and the two of them have been in the same dressing room as the rest of Punjab. In 2019, Gill said that Yuvraj had had a significant influence on the development of his professional career. Gill just hit his maiden century in an ODI, and he said that he met Yuvraj before the series and that Yuvraj inspired him to make a century on the trip.
“I had the opportunity to speak with him before I travelled to Zimbabwe, and throughout our conversation, he complimented my batting and encouraged me to play aggressively after getting set. He also inspired me to achieve a century,” Gill said.
