As one of the biggest events in the antiquity of Test cricket is already on the horizon, the WTC final, the cricketing arcade has been set on fire as the news of Australia squad for the WTC final was released and the names would definitely be big to have the Indians on tenterhooks.
David Warner despite so much drama and a sharp slump in his form, has managed to retain his place in the playing squad while Matthew Renshaw was also added to the squad alongside the opening option of Usman Khwaja.
Cricket Australia said that they would narrow the squad down to a trimmed 15 on May 28th for the WTC final that will be beginning on June 7th at the Oval in London to decide the fate of the Test crown or mace whatever you may call it.

Mitchell Marsh managed to bag a call-up in the Test team after a staggering 4 years as his last appearance came in 2019 but then this is a backup move to Cameron Green as the all-rounder has a history of injuries.
Pat Cummins will be returning to the squad alongside his three specialist fellowmen generating the pace featuring the names of Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Scott Boland. Australia’s chief selector, George Bailey said, “it is a very different assignment from our most recent tour of India and some of the changes are based upon the conditions we are anticipating.”
