The Delhi Test match of the 2023 Border-Gavaskar Trophy series is officially in the history books. The home side recorded another big win against Australia and gained an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the four-match series. Virat Kohli entertained the fans at his home venue by scoring total 64 runs in two innings. During the first innings, there was a clip featuring Virat Kohli and Rahul Dravid that went viral.
Kohli scored 44 runs in the first innings before Matthew Kuhnemann trapped him in front of his stumps. Later in the second innings, Virat Kohli aggregated 20 runs and then got stumped out for the first time ever in his Test career.
During the first innings, Kohli earned everyone’s attention on social media when someone brought a food item from him in the dressing room. He was having a discussion with coach Rahul Dravid at that time, but as soon as he saw the food item, he clapped and prepped himself for an exciting meal.
Rahul Dravid spoke with Star Sports anchor Mayanti Langer after the match ended and disclosed:
“It was not chhole bhatoore, it was chhole kulche. He was tempting me with it. I said, ‘I’m 50 years old! I can’t handle that’.”

During a chat with Gaurav Kapoor on the popular YouTube show ‘Breakfast with Champions’, Kohli revealed that his favorite dish is Chhole Bhatoore from Ram in Rajouri Garden. He said that he loves to have the dish live at the center instead of bringing it parcel at home.
Kohli further added that his part is the Bhatoore which are popped up in oil. Many fans on social media assumed that Kohli would have had Ram’s Chhole Bhatoore in the dressing room. However, had they read the comments from Kohli’s interview on Breakfast with Champions, they would have understood that it was not Chhole Bhatoore. As Dravid revealed, it was Chhole Kulche.
