“Avesh Khan Is One Of The Good Upcoming Bowlers In India” : Dushmantha Chameera Hails The Outpouring Of Young Lucknow Pacer

‘Avesh Khan’, the young pacer of Lucknow Supergiants is doing the majestic stuff for his side in this 15th edition of Indian Premier League. He is one of the chequered pacers who naturally gets the bounce and uneven sideways movement due to his high-arm bowling action. This vital thing always puts him on a catbird seat as compared to his counterparts in the cricketing sphere. Avesh Khan has clinched-up 14-wickets in nine encounters with a miser economy of 7.80 in IPL 2022. He was looking totally pale in the initial games of the league phase but later on he started to get back to his original rhythm of bowling as the matches passed on.

Today, Super Giants will battle out with Rajasthan Royals for stamping their play-offs nomination. But if Lucknow has to win this game against Royals then the victory shaping hand of Avesk Khan should have to contribute majorly with the ball. Thus, when reporters asked another Supergiants pacer ‘Dushmantha Chameera‘ about Avesh in the pre-match conversations, he couldn’t curb himself in praising the potential of his contemporary.

Chameera has answered to the question of an ANI reporter that, “As a leader, KL Rahul tries to do his best for the team. Earning a three-digit number under his name it’s a benefit to the team. It is also a good strength for us. Actually Ravi Bishnoi and Ayush Badoni gave good contributions to the team.

“Avesh Khan is one of the good upcoming fast bowlers in India”.

In this IPL he has done very well so far. Bishnoi always helps us to break headaches throughout the tournament. Ayush also plays good cricket with good fielding. Most of the time when the team needs runs he is there. All three are valuable assets to the team”. Later he added, “Yes I am happy with my performance but I’m trying to improve in every match. In powerplay, I will try to bowl tight lengths and take some early wickets for the team”.
