The first T20I between Australia and West Indies is slated to take place on Friday (7th October) at the Gabba in Brisbane. Talking about West Indies, they would be eager to get used to conditions, as they have to first play a qualifier round in the World Cup. They did reasonably well in the first game to drag it to the last over but failed to held their nerves better. They would want to make a strong comeback and level the series.

Talking about the playing XI, Brandon King and Kayle Mayers are likely to open the innings for West Indies in the second T20I against Australia with Johnson Charles set to bat at No.3. They would be hoping that their top 3 to perform and get into form.

Skipper Nicholas Pooran and his deputy Rovman Powell are likely to handle the middle-order duties along with Jason Holder, who will be handling the finishing role along with Odean Smith at 6 and 7 respectively for their side in the series.

Akeal Hosein is expected to be the lone spinner in the side with Alzarri Joseph, Obed McCoy and Sheldon Cottrell being the three pacers in the side.
