It was a mixed, emotion-filled 29th birthday for KL Rahul yesterday as he played a great knock with the bat but eventually ended up losing the game against the Delhi Capitals franchise. The star batsman played a sensible knock at the top by smashing 61 runs off 51 balls with seven fours and two sixes. His opening partnership of 122 runs with Mayank Agarwal emerged out as the main positive for their side.
Apart from his batting, the other things that created havoc on social media yesterday were birthday wishes that fans and fellow cricketers started showering on him. Out of all, the one wish that emerged out as the most expected one was from Athiya Shetty.
There have been so many rumors about both of them dating each other. However, any clarification hasn’t come out personally from their side. Fans were keeping an eye on Athiya Shetty as to how she would wish the cricketer.

She posted a two-photo carousel on her Instagram handle, which featured both of them making cute faces. The post had gone viral as it accumulated more than 6,00,000 likes in a brief time. She captioned the post as, Grateful for you, Happy Birthday along with adding a cake and a heart emoji.
