He achieved the feat in the inaugural edition of the league when he in a game against Kings XI Punjab (Punjab Kings) blasted 116 runs off 54 balls with 8 sixes and 8 fours and helped his side post a mammoth total of 240 runs and subsequently win the game.

Shane Watson – 106 and 117
It’s fair to say that Shane Watson was one of the finest all-rounders to have played in the IPL. He is the second Australian player who scored a century for CSK in IPL history. However, he achieved the feat not once but twice for the franchise in the same edition. He first achieved the feat against Rajasthan Royals in 2018 when he smashed 106 against them in just 57 balls with the help of ed with 9 fours and 6 sixes. Watson then again set the stage on fire but this time it mattered the most as it came in the final of the IPL 2018. He notched up 117* off 57 balls with 11 fours and 8 sixes and helped his side chase the target to win the IPL.
