England’s tour of Pakistan kick-started with the T20I series. It turned out to be a spectacular contest as both teams took turns to outsmart the other in the seven-match T20I series.
However, in the end, England cricket team had the last laugh in the battle. They won the series by 4-3 and also went on to beat Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
While the T20I series and the showpiece event came to end recently, both teams are gearing up for the three-match Test series. The first Test between England and Pakistan will take place on December 1 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.
The second Test match will be held on December 9 at Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan. On the other hand, the third and final Test will take place on December 17 at National Stadium, Karachi.
We want to play entertaining cricket, our goal is to make Test cricket a sport people want to watch: Brendon McCullum
Meanwhile, England’s head coach, Brendon McCullum is looking forward to the Test series, which is just a couple of days away from getting underway in Rawalpindi.
Pakistan cricket team will enter the series as the favourites since they are totally aware of the conditions at home. Meanwhile, Brendon McCullum said his team wants to play an entertaining brand of cricket.
Moreover, he added that the ultimate goal is to make Test cricket a sport fans want to watch. England cricket team were recently slapped with a 3-0 ODI series whitewash at the hands of the Australian cricket team.
The Three Lions recently went on to lift their second T20 World Cup title. Just days after the glory, they were asked to stay back to compete with Australia in the three-match ODI series.
However, things didn’t go well for England as they lost the series. It will be quite interesting to see how England would approach the Test format against Pakistan.

What's the logic of Blind slogging in Test cricket. Test cricket dies whenever they play it too fast. https://t.co/imBuZsXFmQ
