‘Australia deserved group stage exit for disrespecting Langer’ – Twitter reacts after Justin Langer said he got sacked despite winning T20 World Cup, Ashes and being No.1 in the world

Australian national cricket team is the most-successful team in the history of international cricket. They not only have a better head to head record against the opposition teams but also won several accolades.

The Aussies have earned the reputation of being the serial winners because they literally made it a habit to winning trophies. They are the only team to have won 5 ODI World Cups, which is not an easy feat.

On the other hand, they dominated the rankings by sitting comfortably on the first place for a long time. Under the captaincy of Ricky Ponting, they were totally on a different league.

Moreover, they also hold a decisive edge in the iconic Ashes series, having won the series on 34 occasions compared to England who have won the Ashes on 32 occasions.

Justin Langer says he got sacked despite winning T20 World Cup, Ashes and being No.1 in the world

Australia were long been slammed for their inability to display true quality in T20 World Cup. However, they silenced the critics once and for all by winning the maiden T20 World Cup title under Aaron Finch-Justin Langer in 2021.

There is literally nothing for Aussies to prove or make a point as they have already proved that they are worth the weight in gold. They were recently knocked out of the T20 World Cup 2022 due to a poor Net Run Rate and as a result, they finished third on the Group 1 table.

Meanwhile, former Australian head coach, Justin Langer made a straightforward revelation on being sacked as captain. Under his regime, Australia won the T20 World Cup 2021, Ashes and were also the No.1 in the world.

Despite winning trophies and boasting a formidable record, he still got sacked and that is the hardest thing for Langer. The former Australian player further added that his huge regret was his lack of relationship with Cricket Australia.
