As we all know by now, England will take on Pakistan in the much awaited final of the T20 World Cup 2022 after a very eventful group stage. Yes it’s true that we would be more satisfied with an India vs Pakistan final but these two teams have proved to be the most clinical in the tournament so far and their match will also be exciting to witness.
Talking about the mega event, ICC have planned a pre-final closing ceremony ahead of the match. It will feature a dance and a singing performance. The musical performance will feature the Australian Rock Band alongside Janaki Easwar, a 13-year old Indian origin kid.Β
Janaki Easwer is a child prodigy who recently featured in the Voice, Australia which is one of the biggest musical reality show franchises of the country.Β
England and Pakistan are both equally ready for the final. Their opening duos – Hales, Buttler and Babar, Rizwan showed impeccable performance in their respective semi-finals. It will be interesting to see what they do against each other now.Β
Talking about England, they have a good batting order but their bowlers are nothing compared to the ones that Pakistan have. Pakistan are a much more balanced team overall. However, the top order of the batting line-up is one of the best in the entire world right now and they can demolish any team with their help.Β
Pakistan have to maintain their composure if they want to win this match. They do not have to do something unimaginable. They will simply have to dismiss Buttler and Hales early and their batters will have to do a decent job because England’s bowling order is just average. That would do the job for them.Β
The Paks have really been favored by their luck this time and they might really end up winning the tournament. I’d they managed to do so, it will be their 2nd T20 World Cup trophy.Β
