Indian Cricket Team may have qualified for the Super 4s stage of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 with ease but there are still a lot of areas of concern for them. They did perform staggeringly in their two games, but the poor outings of a few key cricketers were something to note for.
Danish Kaneria wants India to replace Yuzvendra Chahal with Ravi Bishnoi
One of the key players for India who has failed to perform in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 for India is none other than leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. The senior bowler has been struggling to find his rhythm and has looked off colours.
Ahead of the tournament, Chahal was expected to play a big role for India, but in a disappointing outing for him, the leg-spinner has failed to take wickets in the two games.
Although he was economical against Hong Kong his performance was disappointing against Pakistan as he conceded 32 runs in his spell and also dropped one catch.
Following his poor performance, many fans and pundits have raised concerns about his performance and calls have been raised to drop him from the side.

Former Pakistani cricketer Danish Kaneria also feels that India needs to drop Chahal and bring in Avesh Khan in the side as he’s quick and will be useful on UAE tracks.
“Chahal also hasn’t been able to execute his skills. If he can’t bowl enough leg-spin, replace him with Bishnoi. He is quick in the air and on such tracks, he will be useful,” Danish Kaneria said.
“India’s bowling is getting concerning,” Danish Kaneria worried about India’s bowling
In a match against Hong Kong, Indian bowlers especially Avesh Khan, who also conceded runs against Pakistan, and Arshdeep Singh were at the receiving end of thrashing and gave away more than 90 runs in their quota of 8 overs combined.
Avesh Khan now has the worst economy rate in a calendar year for India in T20is – 9.10 (minimum 25 overs).

Kaneria also raised concerns over Avesh Khan’s bowling, saying that the right-arm pacer is going for plenty of runs.
“India’s bowling is getting really concerning. Avesh Khan is going for plenty and if Arshdeep also goes for runs then the entire load comes onto Bhuvneshwar,” he said.
