“Bro should erase 2022 for his memory”, Twitter reacts as KL Rahul is dismissed for just 2 runs in the second innings

On Day 3 of the second Test against India at Mirpur, Axar Patel ran out Khaled Ahmed to help India bowl out Bangladesh for 231 runs. Now India needed 145 runs to win. While Axar Patel has taken three wickets and Mohammed Siraj has taken two, Litton Das was the first to fall in the third session, having scored 73 before being dismissed by Siraj’s bowling.

Wickets have been taken by Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Jaydev Unadkat. Earlier, with Shakib Al Hasan at the helm, Bangladesh batted first and was knocked out for 227 by India. When the visitors scored 314 runs in the first inning, they had a commanding 87-run lead.

While chasing a total of 145 runs, KL Rahul was the first man to fall in the second innings. He scored 2 runs off 7 balls, before being taken out by Shakib Al Hasan. Rahul continued with a poor run of display.

KL Since Rohit Sharma has been absent, Rahul has been leading the India team. Despite this, many supporters have questioned Rahul’s place in the squad due to the 29-year-old’s recent batting slump. The second test in Dhaka was Rahul’s fourth consecutive low score.

Tweets from fans expressed dismay at the Indian opener’s continued failures and questioned his continued inclusion in the Indian squad. Multiple memes were circulated that made fun of the right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman.
