Rohit Sharma Becomes First T20I Captain To Achieve This Mega “World Record”

India has clinched a fresh victory against the team of England which was led by the new Skipper Jos Buttler, with that victory Rohit Sharma has broken a unique and huge world record. After registering consecutive victories in the West Indies and Sri Lanka T20I series, Rohit became the first T20I captain to achieve 13 successive wins in T20 games. The recently happened first T20I against England was the 13th match where Rohit Sharma has led team India successfully and stamped this huge record on his name.

     India has taken a dominant lead in the three-match T20 series against England, Deepak Hooda and Hardik Pandya are the prime faces in the victory of India along with the key wickets from Arshdeep Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal. Before Rohit Sharma, Asgar Afghan of Afghanistan has the record of registering 12 consecutive wins in the T20 matches.  Rohit has broken his record and becomes the first captain of the dominant cricket-playing Nations.

   Before Afghanistan this record was held by the Ex-T20I skipper of Romania that’s why Rohit Sharma became the first captain of a leading cricket-playing nation to register his name in this highly tough chronicle of records. In the latest match, England won the toss and chose to bowl first but they wouldn’t get as much help from the surface as they were expecting and Indian batters dominated English bowlers and scored a mountain of 198 runs.

     Then while batting second the early dismissals of Jason Roy completely de-railed England Hardik Pandya boldly delivered fabulous delivery today’s match the English along with Arshdeep Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal ensured regular check on England’s acceleration of innings. 

    In the next 2 games Rohit Sharma has a chance to capitalize on his record of 15th decent consecutive matches, but Jos Buttler leading team  one will also look to make a strong comeback after defeat in the first game.
