In a recent interview with the Indian Express, Rinku disclosed that he did not expect to earn a contract worth 80 lakh at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. He only expected to earn a contract worth his base price, but he sparked a small bidding war at the mega auction and ended up receiving a contract of 80 lakh.
