3 Teams to have new captains in T20 WC 2022 compared to T20 WC 2021

In the T20 World Cup 2021, many teams played their best game to achieve a supreme position in the tournament but the United Arab Emirates played a spoilsport with many Non-Asian sides. This is the most important time when the teams are preparing for the upcoming edition of T20 World Cup 2022 but in this contest, many teams have appeared with new faces as compared to World t20 of 2021. This could be the fate-deciding decision going for most of the teams which have already been nominated for the race of super 12s.

Thus beneath is given a full list of three teams who will appear with new captains in this edition of World t20 as compared to the previous edition of 2021.

#1. India

In the ICC T20 World Cup, 2021 Indian team stepped in under the leadership of Virat Kohli but in the first two games against Pakistan and New Zealand, India’s hopes of getting into the semi-final got completely shattered. After that, Virat Kohli has been removed from the leadership of all three formats and the new captain Rohit Sharma has been appointed. So in this T20 WC 2022, Rohit Sharma is going to lead team India until the whole tournament.

#2. England.

In the previous World T20 the English side was led by the safe and skilled hands of Eoin Morgan but this time Jos Buttler the new limited format skipper will captain the side in T20 WC 2021. Eoin Morgan get retired in the month of January 2022 due to which the English cricket board appointed Jos Buttler as the new limited overs captain. This is the new era England cricket is going to operate under the hands of Buttler.

#3. West Indies.

In World T20 of 2021, West Indies played under the poor leadership of veteran batter Kieron Pollard but only succeeded in winning 2 games in the whole tournament. But in this T20 world cup of 2022 West Indies will proceed with the matches under the captaincy of young wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran. Hopes that Pooran will turn the fate of Windie’s side in this year’s mega event, as compared to the worst sailing of T20 World Cup 2021.
