4 Young Indians Who Can Rule The Test Cricket In Future

The ‘Test Cricket’ is a format which is renowned for the testing of character of an individual athlete. Because the format demands essential elements like patience, consistency , understanding of the game and control over the temper etc, if an individual has to perform on a long term basis. Thus the test cricket batters and bowlers who are actually doing good from the last couple of years, are so different in the playing character as compared to the framers of the limited overs format. India has remained so successful in the format of the test from the last two decades, the country has the finest test batsmen like Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Virat Kohli. 

     But the new talent of India is also showing some strong glimpses for the future prospect of the Indian cricket team. Among them beneath are a few popular names who can make an enormous contribution in Test cricket for India. 

1. Ruturaj Gaikwad.

  Ruturaj Gaikwad is such a compact batsman as far as concern of his batting technique which is a perfect suit for the format of test cricket. He actually has good numbers while he stepped in from the side of Mumbai in the domestic tournaments like Ranji Trophy and Mushtaq Ali tournament. In the first class sphere, he has scored 1385 runs in 21 matches with the fantastic average of 39.27. The head coach of Indian team Rahul Dravid and his counterparts in the management would be looking towards him as a strong candidate for the test team.

2. Prasidh Krishna. 

  Prasidh Krishna has been recently selected for the one remaining test match of India versus England which will be played in the month of July. His impressive and skillful bowling in the series against West Indies has launched him in the scheme of things for the test matches. Tall height and high arm action actually helps him to get extra bounce from the surface with sharp nippings after being pitched up the bowl. In the first class encounters he has 49 wickets in the 11 matches with a handsome economy of only 2.78. So, fingers crossed for his bright days in the white jersey for team India.

3. Umran Malik.

  Umran Malik is the other person in the list along with Prasidh Krishna who have strong promises for the upcoming days in the white Jersey. The speedster has a decent experience under the coaching of the Protean legend Dale Steyn. After long days test cricket would see the pacer who can consistently bowl beyond the rapido of 90 miles per hour. The special thing which we have seen in Malik as compared to his previous performance in the  last year IPL was his control with the line and length, which may stand in his side for the future.

4. Sarfaraz Khan.

   Sarfaraz Khan is the batter who actually goes under the radar when it comes to the consistent and longing performance in the domain of first class cricket. In the last Ranji season he ruled the tournament with three fantastic centuries along with three half tons. If he gets the chance on the basis of his domestic performance then he can also become a reliable better in the pre dominant batting line up of Indian test side.
